Man stabbed to death in the middle of the day in west London | Southall stabbing: Pictures show forensic teams working as Halliday Square cordoned off after daylight attack | Murder inquiry after man found stabbed in South

Investigations are continuing at a Southall housing estate after a man was stabbed to death in broad daylight on Monday (February 19).
Halliday Square remained cordoned off on Tuesday as forensic scientists and detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command worked at the scene.
Police were called at around 3.30pm on Monday. Officers found a 26-year-old victim suffering from stab injuries.
An air ambulance landed but the man was pronounced dead at 4.05pm.

Police were called to a housing estate and found a 26-year-old man with stab wounds inside a property.
Paramedics and an air ambulance went sent to Halliday Square, Southall, at around 3.30pm on Monday.
But despite their efforts the man died just over half an hour later. A 39-year-old man was arrested and taken into custody.

His next of kin have been informed. Formal identification awaits and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

A 39-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is in custody at a north London police station.

Police are not looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation at this time.
Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are now leading the investigation. Officers remain on scene and enquiries are ongoing.

Police were called on shortly before 3.30pm on Monday to a report of a disturbance in Halliday Square. They found a 26-year-old man suffering from stab injuries.
London's Air Ambulance attended b ut the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 4.05pm.
His next of kin have been informed. Formal identification is yet to take place and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
